Born and raised in Tacoma, WA Jaerez Ozolin was encouraged early on to journal his ideas and thoughts by his mother. Obtaining his first journal in the 3rd grade would be the beginning onslaught to a life filled with curiosity for storytelling through the eyes and voices of others. After earning an undergraduate degree in journalism from Seattle pacific university, Jaerez would carry on to study acting under Gregg Gilmore, a legendary student of the late great Sandy Meisner. His love for playing characters and learning characters became intertwined when he moved to New York city. Inspired early on by the archives of “New York times 1 in 8 million” Jaerez found himself bringing monologues from everyday New Yorkers to life, rather that be in the audition room or his lifes approach, his fascination transfixed how he looked at the arts, and inspired how he would approach his own. After traveling 45 states and over 12 countries, his ultimate aim through his journalism is to bring a platform to everyday people who have mastered themselves through a craft.
“Through pure exploration and love for life I believe 1 in 8 billion will showcase what we as people already know, that while world population continues to rise infinitely, we all have the ability to master at least 1 thing in this beautiful thing called life. For anything is possible”. – Jaerez
